'Nice flat, very well situated near Central Park and near the subway. No problem to enter in the apartment. Very easy! We recommend!'

Kim Gunning from Cape Town, South Africa; March 2010:
'This is an ideal location. I stayed for 6 weeks and fell in love with the place! Michael was very obliging and always available when I needed something. I loved being so close to the 72nd subway and the little Tasty cafe on the corner was a joy for a quick meal. The loft bed was fun, but beware of hitting your head if you are tall. Also, bring earplugs if the sound of jet lagged guests walking up and down in the apartment above you throughout the night worries you. The kitchen was not as well equipped as expected, but a small price to pay - I went to Bed bath and beyond and bought a few odds and ends to bring it up to par. There is VERY little cupboard space for clothes, but most folk don't stay for as long as I did, so that is not really a problem. I would recommend this place to anyone, and intend staying here again when I return. Kim'

VERONIQUE MANGINI from Milan, Italy; January 2010:
'We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very well located, the subway is near, Central Park is just round the corner, if you like classical music the Lincoln center is close and Zabar's is a couple of blocks away. The apartment is comfortable, you just don't have to mind climbing up to the mezzanine to sleep! '

'A nice place to stay for a week in NYC ! Quiet, cosy, well furnished, next to the metro and Central Park - the studio was a treat for us.'

Doris Moor from Zürich, Switzerland; November 2009:
'Perfectly located. Shopping- and sightseeing hotspots are easily reachable by subway or taxi or some even by foot. The flat itself is old, heating makes noise, Kitchen ok. We booked for 3 guests but beds were ready only for two. We changed the couch to a bed by ourselves. The flat is a good possibility to stay for a few days, but not for a longer time.'

'We stayed at the West 71st studio for 5 weeks while we were attending a dance summer intensive course. We really enjoyed staying at this cozy studio. The location is just perfect. The apt is very cute & you can feel at home easy. The only thing we were not sooo happy about was that there are not many utilities for the kitchen, we had to buy some things by ourselves. Overall very great!!'

Wertz Brigite from , DE; May 2009:
' Location is great and I liked the building, It's not fancy but it feels safe clean and real.Love the high ceilings! The apt is small but the layout is very well designed. The furnishings are funky..... interesting what they did with the space. This place is for someone who is not conventional like me. I loved it and would not mind living in NY in a place just like this (can't afford it). '

Michael Shermin from Berkeley, CA, USA; May 2009:
