Nanci Severance from San Francisco, USA; November 2014:
'My stay at the Lincoln Center 65th Street studio was very nice. The location is excellent with many subway stops located within 4 blocks and the apartment was spotless and very comfortable. I would like to return every time I come to NYC. '

Nancy Danaher from Livingston Mt, USA; November 2014:
'Great location, roomy for a studio, well equipped. Clean, quiet, with a great mattress; would definitely return .'

Tom Cassidy from Arlington, VA, United States; August 2014:
'What a wonderful apartment from which to explore NYC! Last year my wife and I spent 5 days in VRBO apartments in London and Paris. We thought - let's go to NYC and were lucky to find this apartment for a 5 night stay. Close to subways, Central Park, Lincoln Center (obviously) and even a short walk to the Columbus Circle Whole Foods. Apartments are better than hotels for various reasons, including not paying $20 each for a breakfast. We shopped for fresh fruit and other breakfast items at Whole Foods sparing that expense. Enjoyed a Lincoln Center outdoor concert (free) with Roseann Cash!. Also a great dinner at Robert, top of MAD @ Columbus Circle. Miriam was a delight to work with to make our stay easy. We will absolutely consider this as a platform for our next NYC explore. Enjoy!'

Rhonda Schmid from Saint Louis, USA; August 2014:
'Apartment was just like photos. Sheets are high quality and mattress was comfortable. The only issue I had was a slow draining tub that after a few days made the tub quite slippery. Location was safe and easy to access taxi or subway. '

José IUJVIDIN from Buenos Aires, Argentina; August 2014:
'I've spent a great time in this fantastic studio. Let me tell you it's brand new, everything works fine, it is one block from Lincoln Center and 66th subway station and half a block from Central Park. It couldn't be better!! So I hope to come back again'

Francis & Sally Schrag from Madison WI, USA; January 2014:
'The apartment was very clean & the location is outstanding -- totally accessible to transportation, shopping, etc. here are some of the negatives: the building is not well kept and there were unpleasant odors on the main floor Also incinerator was overflowing at times. In the apartment there were a few things missing: floor mat for wet shoes and 1 for standing at sink to keep floor dry. There's need of a good & safe tea kettle; the one there doesn't pour and you could easily get burned. An additional roll of paper towel & some pump soaps would help too + a real bar of soap.'

Susan from Brinbridge Island, WA, USA; January 2014:
'Perfect Location--near to a subway line, a few blocks more to an express line and a few blocks from Central Park. Clean and as advertised. We would definitely stay again. The H and H bagel shop is no longer there, but Zabar's is just a few blocks away.'

Evelyn Meany from Hayden, Usa; December 2013:
'This apartment is very small. Microwave did not work and there was no coffee pot. Hallways and entry were dirty and not well maintained. Appointments were minimal. In summary, felt we overpaid significantly for this unit, and we have rented many in NYC.'

Pat Zug from Springfield, Va, USA; December 2013:
'Perfect place to stay while we worked at the American Museum of Natural History. Very safe neighborhood and everyone was so friendly. Citarella's, just a half block away is not to be missed for wonderful foods, which we enjoyed every day. The studio apartment was perfect for us and would highly recommend it.'

Lana cowell from Cleveland, US; November 2013:
'Very cozy, clean studio. Easy access and close to subway, restaurants, fresh food market and other attractions such as the Natural History Museum. Great for couples.'

Cindy Patterson from Texas, USA; October 2013:
'Great location. Would highly recommend this instead of staying at a hotel. Neighborhood felt safe & very close to subway terminal. The apartment itself was very quiet. Only drawback I had were the towels in the bathroom, could use a better quality.'

Cecilia Barrie from San Jose, CA, usa; September 2013:
'Loved the studio! It was spacious, clean, comfortable, and in a terrific location. Highly recommend it. One thing that could make it even better--an american coffee maker (it had an espresso one.) Also, internet (wifi) did not work really well. Could have been our computer/phone/ipad's fault.'

Orlando Raphael from Caen , France ; September 2013:
'Me and my friend had a very great time in NYC, partially due to that nice place. it has all you can wish in an apartment : close to everything in manhattan ( never more than 15 or 20 minutes in subway , never more than 20$ in taxi !) ; quiet neighborhood ; restaurants and bars close ; Central Park 10 minutes walking ! And the owners answer very quickly to mails , which is very appreciable and helpful to organize your trip When you have questions. Would tell my friends or family to go there ! '

Ted Johnsen from Reno, USA; September 2013:
'We stayed in the apartment five days and nights in the beginning of September 2013. It is in a great location, half a block from Broadway with all kinds of shopping and good restaurants, three blocks to the Metro, and 4 blocks to Central Park. The apartment itself is a small studio apartment facing the courtyard and not the street. It makes it quiet, but rather dark, because of lack of sunlight. The lights in the apartment are pretty good, though. When we arrived it was hot and humid, and it was a challenge for the A/C to keep the apartment reasonably cool. The A/C kept the temperature at around 80 degrees, and a separate fan helped to move the air to an acceptable sleeping climate. The kitchen was short of some basic tools like a spatula, decent knives for bread cutting and vegetable chopping. Only half a role of paper towels was provided, but no dishwashing towels and brush. The landlord could also be more generous with toilet paper. Only one and a half role was provided. There was no television service, when we arrived, as no cable service had been arranged for. After complaining, the landlord managed to get basic service on the third day of our stay. All in all, the landlord can easily remedy the small issues mentioned here. We liked the location and may consider staying there again next time we are in New York City. '

Wendy Robards from Seattle, USA; July 2013:
'The very best thing about this apartment is its location! The street is very quiet and it is close to the express subway stop at 72nd street. I really wanted to have a kitchen and this one is just fine and reasonably outfitted for a few meals in. The stove and refrigerator were clean and worked very well. The bed was comfortable and had reasonably good linens. The negatives are that the room is oddly organized with the bed right in front of the extremely noisy, only moderately cool air conditioner. One set of towels and one dish towel seemed a little sparse and $10 for extras surprised me. I also wanted the room to be a bit cleaner when I arrived. The basics were taken care of but there was dust around the edges and the walls in the kitchen area were dirty. I was also surprised by the extremely loud remodeling going on in the apartment directly above me starting early each weekday morning. I realize that it's possible that the owners didn't know about it, but it was very unpleasant. Every single communication I had with the company managing this apartment was warm, friendly, timely and helpful. The directions I received were perfect. '

Stephanie Plotner from Burleson, USA; July 2013:
'Apt was great except the air conditioner was not working very good. It was 90+ degrees outside and even after two hours with the air on it was miserable. I went and bought a fan and left it in the room. Besides that great location, loved how close it was to a superb market and the subway!! Thanks for a great time!'

Robin Tompkins from Lake Oswego, USA; May 2013:
'I was traveling on business and quickly needed to find an affordable place to stay. Being familiar with the neighborhood, I knew it was safe location for a female traveling alone. In addition, I love the shops nearby. The unit was small and clean. The bed was especially comfortable which is an essential consideration if you travel on business often. Great access to everything I needed.'

Monica Tercero from Dublin, California, USA; April 2013:
'We had a lovely stay. The studio was everything we hoped it would be. It's in a great location and close to the subway, groceries and restaurants. WE slept with the window open and it was quiet. I would suggest adding a couple of things- a sponge to clean the kitchen, a small rack for washing dishes, potholders, and a small cookie sheet for warming up local baked goods. I appreciated the ice cube trays! Christina and Michael were great about responding very quickly to any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again. '

Linda Farrell from Columbus, USA; March 2013:
'While the location and price of this apt were excellent, there were many issues. First, the bed is too big, taking up almost the entire room--no real space for entertainging. Kitchen is minimal. No corkscrew and no bedside stands on which to put a cup of tea and you must get out of bed to turn off the light. (Which my son figured out had a short in it and put a paint can on the base to make it work!). There was a stain on the straw rug and money (pennies) in with the silverware. We travel to NYC frequently and we were very disappointed in this place and will not go back.'

Robert Burkhart from San Fran CA, USA; December 2012:
'Michael and Christina always have nicely appointed, clean rentals. I have stayed in 3 of them now, and have never been disappointed.'

Sarah Hilt from Columbus, Ohio, Usa; September 2012:
'Great location! Close to subway, west side market and coffee. Building is secure, safe and quiet. The bed was very comfortable making our stay very enjoyable. Went and jogged central park being so close! Would highly recommend.'

Pauline & Ian Farrell from Conception Bay South, Newfoundland, Canada; September 2012:
'This apartment was at a great location! Close to an awesome market and a great little bakery and also within walking distance to some great pizza! The apartment was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our week in NYC. It was only a couple of blocks away from the nearest subway station and just a $36 cab ride from LaGuardia airport. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to be close to everything but save some money while visiting the city. The owners were great! Quick to respond to any questions we had before our arrival and quick to return our damage deposit after we left. Thanks so much for making our 4th wedding anniversary such a memorable occasion!'

Aaron Pugh from New Delhi, India; July 2012:
'This was a great place to stay. It is centrally located and we took walks in central park every morning. It is also close to the subway and you can get all over NYC easily. Thanks for the great stay!'

Sue Howling from Sydney, Australia; June 2012:
'This apartment is in the best location possible! So close to shops of all kinds, restuarants, cafes and bars and only a short walk to the subway. The apartment was very good - very clean and fitted out with everything you would need. My only problem was with the bed being against the wall leaving only one side to get out. This made it difficult during the night not to disturb the other person. '

Donald Anderson from St; Louis, United States; May 2012:
'The location of this apartment was really good. So close to Central Park and lots of good restaurants. The apartment is very tiny though. Only a bed and table and chairs. A couch would have been nice. Also, the oven didn't work and there is no microwave so we could only cook on top of the stove. Thought the $90 cleaning fee was a bit steep considering how small the place was. But otherwise we enjoyed our stay there. We would recommend this apartment to others. '

Raymond Roberts from San Francisco, USA; May 2012:
'Very stylish (Campari poster, glass top dining table) -perfect location right off Broadway. 20 min to Lincoln Center, 5 min to the 72nd St MTA station. Very clean and compact. Good size fridge for cheese, wine, etc. and working bath tub (if you walk too much in NYC). Sorry that Mary (housekeeper) does not return telephone messages - we tried three times and gave up. Cleaning deposit promptly returned. Quiet on the 4th Floor with window that really opened to let in lots of air. A great place to stay on the UWS.'

Patricia Dunlop from Boise, United States; January 2012:
'Clean and tidy, just a pictured. Great neighborhood/location. Would recommend. A microwave would be useful.'

Antoine FOUGERIT from Rouen, France; January 2012:
'Nice appartment, near subway and shops. '

Issa Zumot from Sacramento, United States; November 2011:
'Great Location! Close to subway, restaurants, bars, fairway grocery store, central park and more. Very clean. Just what we were looking for. Enough to sleep (comfortable bed), make some breakfast and get cleaned up before heading out to the big city. Also very quiet. It is a bit snug, but again perfect for it's use and for being in the heart of the Upper West Side. Can't beat it for the price. Checking in and out was simple. It needed some additional items you would normally expect in a hotel/vacation home but other then that made for a great stay for our vacation. Also Michael and Christina were great. Deposit returned promptly. Would recommend!!!'

SERGIO BARTOLINI from livorno, italy; November 2011:
'it's the third year we stay in your apartment. we stay very well it's near to subway, and supermarkets.only a problem: the refrigerator is rather noisy during the night it's pleasant stay there, as at home'

jackie greenberg from denver, usa; November 2011:
'the good: quiet; great location--across from Fairway Mkt, 2 blks from subway,3 blocks from cross-town bus, clean and really appreciated having the apt cleaned once and having the sheets and towels washed, most comfortable bed in the world the not-so-good the table takes up way too much room in a small 300 ft. studio apt; no comfortable chair to watch TV; the three other chairs were ok for dining but not good for anything else; the saddle stool tables were useless for trying to balance the laptop where you had to plug it in...a flat table would be more serviceable....the laundry card, without instructions, could be only used once and I had to borrow a card from a neighbor and pay him back; more hangars and an extra set of keys (I didn't lose mine but lived in fear that I might)....all in all it was suitable but because of the main table and the side tables I would not recommend it....but I gotta tell you, I LOVED the bed...shalom, Jackie'

James Wilson from Vancouver, Canada; October 2011:
'We throughly enjoyed our one week stay at your apartment again. It is perfect for a couple close to everything with excellent restaurants, shopping etc.nearby. Once again we took in 5 Broadway shows. We purchased weekly unlimited Metro cards for $29 a great bargin. The only improvment we could suggest is a microwave to reheat the food from the huge portions at nearby cafes etc. Jim & Norma'

Scott Duval from Adelaide, Australia; September 2011:
'We enjoyed our stay in this apartment which is in a great location. Apartment was clean and neat. Having stayed in new York before we were not surprised that it was on the small side but that is to be expected given the price and location.'

Patrick and Rachel Cunningham from Farmersville, IL, USA; July 2011:
'This studio apartment was in a great and quiet location. An ample amount of stores and restaurants surround the area. The apartment was comfortable and clean - a perfect place to sleep after long days of sightseeing. We would consider staying here again on our next visit to New York City.'

Jamie Keller from Berkeley, USA; July 2011:
'The apartment was in a great location to attend graduation. It was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near a wonderful market and between two subway stops. We enjoyed our stay, but wished there were some basic supplies and that the kitchen had been better equipped and better suited for cooking. Bottom line is that the apartment is a great fit for those who want to explore New York City, but don't want to do much cooking.'

Wolfgang Andres-Fischer from Munich, Germany; June 2011:
'We had 8 nights in this appartement. It was clean, we had towels and sheets, so it was not necessary to bring that stuff with us. It is located well in the Upper West Side which is a beautiful neighbourhood. During the day we preferred being around the city, in the evenings the apartement is good for relaxation. We left the apartement early because there is not much daylight in the room. The organisation worked fine. We can not understand why leaving the suitcases for two and a half hours costs 15 dollars extra especially because they were stored in the closet where the cleaning lady was not hindered by the luggage.'

'we enjoyed our stay at the apt very much. It is in a great location as our children live at 79th & Amsterdam. The apt was clean and fairly comfortable. We ususally come to the city twice a year and look forward to staying here again. On a side note, a microwave and a coffee pot would be a nice addition to the amenities.'

Lucas Budeisky from Quilmes, Argentina; June 2011:
Saludos'

Marian Hofstein from Savannah, GA, USA; May 2011:
'This was our second stay in this quiet, comfortable studio apt.'

Dieter Köhnlein from Nürnberg, Germany; May 2011:

Christine Gerbino from El Paso, Texas, USA; January 2011:
'I left a lenghty comment in the guestbook, so I really have no more to add. Most of my concerns were the same as others who have stayed in the partment. All was good, but the addition of just a couple amenities would make it Great! '

Dave Allen from London, England; January 2011:
'The apartment was perfect for our needs - in a nice part of town, just three blocks from the park or the subway. It was easy to find and to get in, everything was clean and anything that needed explaining was clearly explained. It was not a problem to leave our bags there on the day we checked out as we had an evening flight, this was a real help. The cleaning lady, Mary, was also very helpful. All in all a lovely little apartment, far better value than a hotel would have been!'

jean-pascal arrou-vignod from Paris, France; January 2011:
'Very well located. Nice, cosy and quiet appartment. The only downside was the internet connection which was not working neither by wifi nor by cable. Nevertheless, we appreciated a lot our stay in New York and this appartment contributed to the pleasure. We will recommend it.'

Bryan Cummings from Calgary, Canada; December 2010:
'the CD player is non-functional, you need a toaster and a microwave if eating in is needsd. Good location tho. '

Marian Hofstein from Savannah, GA; December 2010:
'Perfect end unit studio apartment for a mature couple. Larger and better equipped than comparable NY hotels rooms. Building has an elevator and is perfectly located near Broadway, 72nd St subway, Trader Joes and several movie theaters.'

Ashley Duffey from Indiana, United States; December 2010:
'Our vacation over Thanksgiving to New York City was the first time both of us had ever visited. The NYC apartment couldn't have been more perfect and clean, or in a better location; it was fantastic! We were just a few blocks from the metro where we could access everything, and restaurants, grocery stores and shopping lined the blocks all around us. We were also in a perfect spot to walk to the start of the parade. We will definetely stay either there, or one of Michael and Christina's other apartments when we come again. The process worked great and we found our stay very enjoyable. I would've loved a nice, comfy chair to sit in at the end of the day instead of climbing in the bed, but that is just a tiny wish. We thank them sincerely for their hospitality! '

sergio bartolini from livorno, italia; November 2010:
'It's the second year we stay in your apartment. It is very pretty and confortable and near to the metro and supermarket. We enjoy very much to stay there.we sleep very well in the large bed!!! We hope to return the next year'

'The apartment is in a great neighborhood, very convenient for shopping and dining. It was very clean and overall my stay was really pleasant.'

Norm from Brisbane, Australia; May 2010:
'Was not impressed with the size of the apt for the price. The area was reasonably handy to everything and quiet.I realise this is New York and I have nothing to compare it with except hotels in several other countries.'

Daniel Greene from Fremantle, Australia; April 2010:
'Our stay there was fantastic. The location of the appartment was ideal and the bed ridiculously comfortable. Slightly dissapointed the Ipod connection to the speaker system didn't work but that's a minor gripe. Would recommend to friends.'

Jessica Püschel from Munich, Germany; January 2010:
'Thank you so much Michael for letting us stay at your place! We had a great time. The apartment was nice and clean and quiet! We´d love to come back! '

Sabrina Allegre from Aix en provence, France; November 2009:
'Exactly what expected, clean apartment, quiet area, and helpful owner. The building is not really deluxe, but we don't leave in the hallway ;-)? So do not hesitate, it's a good place . Sabrina & Michel'

Kenneth Dawley from Carmel Valley,Ca, USA; October 2009:
'Hi Michael, The studio apartment was in an ideal location for us during our visit.Being close to the subway station,Fairway and Zabar's markets was a real plus. The apartment was in excellent condition and met all of our needs. The restaurants in the in the area certainly provided a plethora of dining options. Ken & Veronica Dawley Carmel Valley,Ca'

Christian Quaden from Lille, France; September 2009:
'Perfect stay in this very quiet appartment. No noise during the night as the room is in the back of the building. Of course, you hear about the neighbour's tv but it is all you can listen to.. The appartment is very clean and confortable. In the beginning, it is quite difficult to understand the shower but go to the guest's book where you will find a picture showing how to resolve your problem ! Perfect localisation, the metro is 5 minutes by feet and just at the corner you will find all what you need to make your errands. Thank you Michael and Cristina for my stay, so much better than the hotel ! Christian, from France'

Blake Gunderson from Fresno, CA; July 2009:
'We loved our stay and appreciated the $, the cleanliness of the condo (with one exception-see below) & the location. We do have a few suggestions (in ascending order of importance): 1) A small microwave would be a good idea; 2) The shower curtain could be cleaned/replaced (dirty on the bottom); 3) The building itself appears to be getting somewhat rundown & the common areas (hallways & entry) were not as clean as the condo. We certainly understand that this is completely out of your control, but this will be something we consider in deciding whether or not to book again; 4) We fully agree with your comments about the AC. However, given the lack of ventilation, we routinely had to run the AC at night in order to cool the place down enough to sleep. This was during a time when the weather (with only one humid day) was lovely. Have you considered installing a ceiling fan/light fixture? We have them in every room at home & it makes a big difference in cooling (not to mention the electric bill). '

Bart Ziegler from San Diego, USA; July 2009:
'The place was clean, wonderfully located, and the arrangements couldn't hvae been simply more welcome. Michael provides great service!! '

Sergi Civit from Barcelona, Spain; July 2009:
'The apartment is absolutely perfect. Cool place to stay in NYC!!!. Clean, safe, quiet, located in the wonderful UWS around one of the most amazing supermarket that I know Fairway. Pretty close to the Riverside Park (Manhattan's most spectacular waterfront) and Central Park a perfect place for runners like me. Strategically well situaded (subway 1,2,3 lines). Definitely the place to stay in New York.!!! PS: I will definitely use again. (Unfortunately is booked for my future short stay in September). Cheers and congratulations!!! All the best sergi '

Anne Gutekunst from Phoenix, USA; June 2009:
'The apartment was clean and very convenient. It was also quiet.'

Jody from San Francisco, USA; May 2009:
'Nice modern place, great neighborhood.'

Marlene Nourok from San Diego, USA; May 2009:
'Michael & Christina, We enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The location was absolutely wonderful. Great area of NYC, close to markets, restaurants, subway, and major bus routes. We would stay here again. Sincerely Marlene & Dave N.'

Lisa Rankin from Sydney, Australia; April 2009:
'This apartment is very conveniently located - only two blocks from the nearest Metro stop. It was clean and easily accessible. Michael was easily contactable when we couldnt work out how to use the shower! We felt safe in the apartment at all times. We didnt find the best as comfortable as mentioned by other guests (the fitted sheet would not stay intact and the mattress dipped in the middle). A toaster, a tea towel and some new sheets would be some additions which would have made our stay more comfortable. I would recommend this apartment if you are looking to save money on your accomodation, however dont expect the same level of comfort and finishes as you would find in a quality hotel. '

Sarah from , ; March 2009:
'This fabulous apartment is in great shape. There is no street noise in the quiet corner apartment and Michael will go out of his way to help you promptly with any issues! The bed was big and comfy and the two closets provided plenty of room. I highly recommend this studio in such a charming UWS setting!'

Michelle Foster from Sydney, Australia; December 2008:
'A big thank you to Michael and Cristina for a very comfortable and geographically well positioned stay. The apartment is clean and tidy and the bed is very comfy. I did notice that the apartment lacked a kettle in favour of a coffee machine - easily fixed though, I'm sure. The location is superb. Walk out the door and you'll be in the subway in no time at all. You'll probably even spot the odd celebrity on your way!! If you want a bit more room we also stayed in Michael and Cristina's West 75th one bedroom apartment which is a couple of doors down and also recommended. One last thing - Michael and Cristina truly shine when and if there is a problem. Be it a blocked drain or an administration error, they are on the case and have the problem resolved with speed and efficiency. Thanks guys!'

Fernando Hernandez from Orlando, Florida, USA; December 2008:
'great location!'

Jon vallee from Jackson Wy, usa; November 2008:
'We had a great stay but the apartment could use a few small Improvements. The fitted sheet on the bed was clean but needed changing due to age. The kitchen could use a few basic Items, a toaster , spatula ,2 wine glasses , some salt. and it sure would be nice to have a comfortible chair The apartment is a great value and we would gladly pay 10$ more a night if you added a few comforts'

Michelle Butler from Glendale, USA; November 2008:
'Our stay was swell. Great location, clean and loved the bed. An electric coffee maker would have made us big coffee drinkers happier and a dresser to put our clothes away would have been great. We would go back. Thanks. Michelle & Mark'

Heather Blackmon from Marietta, GA, USA; November 2008:
'Wonderful location - convenient to central park and subway, but very quiet location. Slept with the window open and didn't hear a thing! '

Shannon Mally from San Francisco, USA; September 2008:
'Michael and Cristina, Thank you so much for opening up your home to us during our first visit to NYC! The apartment was great. We couldn't have asked for a better location. It is close to several markets and only a couple blocks from the subways. There's no better way to expereince New York than to stay in an apartment and live like a real New Yorker for a few days. We look forward to our next trip to New York and would not hesitate to stay with you again if the apartment is available. Thanks again! Shannon and Matt'

Chris Lackey from Calgary, Canada; August 2008:
'This is a comfortable, quiet studio apartment in a secure building. The location is very convenient, just off Broadway and near the 72nd st. subway station, which is a stop for express and local trains on the 1,2,3 line. This makes it easy to get anywhere in NYC quickly. There are many fine bars, restaurants, and retail stores in the upscale surrounding area. Central park and the Museum of Natural History are less than a 10 minute walk East. A well-stocked market open till 1am is also 1 minute away. We would definitely stay here again. Chris & Mel'
