'We stayed in the Parlor apartment. A fantastic location, roomy and comfortable for 3 adults with everything we needed. Only issue was about the lease arrangement but once that was sorted all was great. '

Moshe Even Chen from Petah Tiqva, Israel; July 2012:
'The apartment Is nice and comfortable for two couples or small family. It is placed in a very nice and pleasant neighborhood. Close to Columbus circle, Lincoln culture center - 7 minutes walk, and 2 minutes from Central Park. A few Kosher restaurants in a reasonable distance. '

Audrey Ashkin from Matthews, NC, USA; July 2012:
'This apartment met our needs perfectly. It is exactly as described and pictured. The location could not be better with Central Park and the subway just steps away. Our family of four had a fun time vacationing in NYC!'

Jana Settles from San Antonio, USA; June 2012:
'The apartment was great! Perfect location. Steps away from Central Park! The apartment was clean and looked just like the pictures on the website. We would stay there again.'

'Absolutely perfect location; great space, comfortable, homey and so convenient. Only one half block from Central Park entrance and only 6 short blocks from LIncoln Center. We loved every aspect of staying in a brownstone; lovely street, great neighbors all walking dogs and so friendly. We felt right at home.'

Michael Cornu from Park City, UT, USA; April 2012:
'We stayed for four nites, five days in this apartment situated in the perfect neighborhood for us in NYC. A short 1/2 block to Central Park (the weather was absolutely gorgeous and all the trees were just in bloom!)and all the restaurants, bars as well as subway stations you could ask for. The apartment isn't annthing but was everything as advertised, very comfortable and it's a quiet place, easy to sleep. We will return to this apartment for our next NYC trip. Thank you ! '

Dan Richardson from Hilton, United States; February 2012:
'We spent four days at The Parlor. Everything was as represented. We had a great time. Two adults and two children fit comfortably. The location was great-American Museum, subway, great Italian restaurant just down the street near Columbus Ave. Parking was not difficult, just remember to move your car for street sweeping. No elevator and just a few steps made the kids happy too! '

'Loved, loved this apartment!!The tall ceilings give it such character. We had 3 people, and there was plenty of room.So convenient, Central Park right down the block, subway station on the other corner.Lots of restaurants, grocery stores, shops within blocks.I highly recommend this apt.My friends rented another apt in this building, & were just as pleased.'

Val Loskota from Los Angeles, USA; October 2011:
'My husband and I plus our daughter, her husband and 2 little one stayed 2 nights here. The location can't be beat. The place was roomy for the 6 of us and the price compared to the Comfort Inn nextdoor at $359 for 1 room, was excellent. Thanks to Veronica for working it out because we needed 4 nights. She was able to give us 2 nights in MacBeth and 2 night in Parlour. '

Sharelle Down from Brisbane, Australia; September 2011:
'Again great location. Good size and relatively comfortable. Shower and plumbing better than in the Macbeth on 3rd floor. main bedroom could do with better curtains which would cut down on the light in the mornings and provide more privacy. Friends in the other bedroom said the bed was not as good as in the Macbeth. My husband was happy with the sofa bed. Single bed with the trundle in 2nd bedroom. Loved having to only walk up several steps compared to having to walk up to the Macbeth. Was happier in this apartment. '

Eleanor Scott from Cairns, Australia; September 2011:
'We stayed at the Parlour Apartment for about 9 days and it was fantastic. The location was perfect just near central park and close to all the attractions. The apartment itself was really lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed coming home each night to our temporary home. The neighbourhood was friendly and our only suggestion would be to include a washing machine to assist with the laundry. Thank you for providing such a great place to stay and we will recommend it to anyone we know is travelling to New York City. Kind regards Eleanor Scott'

Faye NARDELLA from Moonee Ponds, Australia; August 2011:
'We loved The Parlor Apartment. It was close to everything, clean and convenient. We couldn't work out how to make a local call and the toaster didn't work, but these were the only difficulties we encountered. The train to downtown was around the corner, food and laundry services were up the street and it was fabulously close to Central Park. I have recommended it to my friends and family for when they go to New York. Thanks, it was great!'

Perry Glantz from Castle Rock, Colorado, USA; July 2011:
'The apartment was fantastic! We had five adults and were very comfortable. The immediate access to Central Park was tremendous. We were able to go walking and running everyday directly from the apartment. The restaurants in the immediate area were also very good. It was an easy walk to the Lincoln Center and Columbus Circle. While a bit further, we enjoyed walking to Rockefeller Plaza and Times Square as well. We highly recommed this apartment.'

Ronald Rudolph from Golden, CO, USA; July 2011:
'The Parlor is in a great location to enjoy nearby NYC attractions, including Central Park and Museum of Natural History, is proximate to many fine restaurants and close to a subway stop, which provides access to the rest of the city. The owner or leasing agent, Veronica, was very responsive to our needs. Some of the features of the apartment, especially the air conditioning and beds were less than satisfactory but we made do and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.'

vivian Ross from flagstaff, az, United States; June 2011:
'Location is great. Apt. layout very good. I was there 4 weeks and appreciated it. Criticisms: Bedroom air conditions needs to be replaced. Bedroom reading lamps needed. Lack of natural light is an issue for me as I come from very sunny area. Overall: Thumbs up. I really liked being there. '

Gene Graham from Long Beach, USA; May 2011:
'The planning and arrangements were very convenient, and the neighborhood was safe, fun, and fully accessible to the subway and bus system, but we probably wouldn't stay there again, as the apartment was a bit musty, and the two bedrooms were incredibly small... not even enough room to step along side the queen-sized bed. The water pressure and volume in the shower was only a little more than a trickle. There wasn't a single winow in the common space, so we never really spent any time there, and wouldn't even contemplate staying in for a meal.'

Edith Livingstone from Silver Spring, MD; April 2011:
'This apartment was in a great location and completely met the needs of our family (two teens and two adults). Apartment was well appointed, clean, and very quiet. We tought it was a good value for the amount of space. Management company (Veronica) was easy to deal with and everything worked smoothly. We would highly recommend this rental. '

Ruth Nightingale from London, UK; April 2011:
'This apartment has a lovely relaxed feeling about it and yet is in a great location to travel uptown, downtown or wander in to the beautiful Park. With plenty of shops and restaurants within easy reach we could certainly not have asked for more. The apartment had all we needed.'

Jorge Gross from Porto Alegre, Brazil; December 2010:
'The apartment was very comfortable, spacious and with a cozy atmosphere. We enjoy very much our stay and we will come back again in the future. '

Lynn Wilson from New Braunfels, USA; December 2010:
'The Apartment we stayed in was great! Everything was clean and the location was close to the subway system and/or taxi service was easy to obtain. Easy walking distance to grocery stores or local deli's as well. Next time we are in New York, we will try to stay at this same location. Thanks.'

Ray Werner from Pittsburgh, PA, USA; December 2010:
'Hi, We had a delightful stay at The Parlour. Great neighborhood, half hour walk to Broadway shows and all the action, a stone's throw from Central Park. And The Boat House where we had 24 folks at a long table for Thanksgiving. The apartment was clean and inviting and there were no surprises. A mirror in the bedroom or hooks in the bedroom would be nice. Perhaps a few garbage bags in the kitchen. The dishwasher detergent was empty. These are small items. Also, a top sheet on the bed is kind of expected. Again, small items. We would stay there again in a minute. And hope to some day. Best to you.'

Christine Miller from Aberdeen, U.K.; November 2010:
'Excellent location. Apartment very clean and facilities adequate for a few nights stay?'

Greta Hickey from Dublin, Ireland; November 2010:
'Veronica, we had a great time in NYC and found staying at the Parlour great. The location is fanstastic, with access to Central Park, and to numerous diners and restaurants close by. We were not short of places to eat out in while there. We did not experience any problems in the apartment, and know we will come back again next time we are coming to NYC. Thank you for assisting in making our stay so enjoyable. Greta. '

Nancy K from Minneapolis, USA; October 2010:
'Hi Veronica, We very much enjoyed our stay at W. 71st St. The Parlor apartment was clean and comfortable, with a nice historic charm - just perfect for our week in NYC. The location was great, and in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood. We loved being very close to Central Park, and found many nice restaurants, bakeries and stores within a block or two. Having the subway just around the corner was very handy too. We would not hesitate to rent the apartment again in the future. Thanks again, Nancy'

juli teitelbaum from ashland, Oregon, USA; October 2010:

Anthony Edmonds from Chicago, USA; September 2010:
'We had a great stay at the Parlor Apartment. The location was perfect - just a block from Central Park and surrounded by lots of restaurants, shopping, etc. The apartment itself was perfect for our family - nice size by NY standards, clean and well-maintained. It was a very nice alternative to a hotel!'

Donna from Philadelphia, PA; July 2010:
